It is a tourist visa granted upon entrance at the port of entry of the country receiving a foreigner. This means that there is no need to secure a visa for the country you need to visit before buying a plane ticket because your visa will be provided when you reach the port of entry of your destination.
## Can I Avail a Tourist Visa on Arrival in the Philippines?
It depends. A foreigner can enter the Philippines for thirty (30) days without need of a visa provided that they are a citizen or national of a non-visa required country under **Executive Order 408 s. 1960 (E.O. 408)**. If you are a national of these countries you can avail of visa on arrival:
